The Chamber of Commerce oversees several of the committees and events that are held in the county. If you are interested in helping with any event contact the Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce.

Atwood Music Festival
The Atwood Music Festival, the longest running festival of its kind in the state of Mississippi, is an annual festival held near the banks of the Pearl River in Monticello, Mississippi on Memorial Day weekend in May.

Christmas Parade
Every year Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce holds a Christmas parade in Monticello for all the county to enjoy. The committee is in charge of organizing the parade, pick the theme, the time, and other details of the event.

Service Club
Service Club is a sub-committee that is dedicated to improving the community through events, such as, Lawrence County Easter Egg Hunt, 4th of July at Atwood, the annual Texas Chili Meal, and offers support to other county events.

Monticello Marketplace
The first Saturday in November we host the annual Monticello Marketplace in downtown Monticello. This vendors market offers people the opportunity to shop local, enjoy shop sales, and others to showcase their talents as a vendor.

Life of Christ
The Life of Christ is an event planned with the Chambers support. It is a kick start to the Christmas season as a reminder of the reason we celebrate. Churches from all denominations come together to showcase the life of Christ in living scenes.

Trunk or Treat
Lawrence County host the annual Trunk or Treat for the county to enjoy. This event was started as a way to offer a safe and controlled environment for parents and children to enjoy some family friendly Trick or Treating.
